What are some pretty
hairstyles?
How to create the
perfect special occasion and everyday
hairstyles...
Creating a pretty hairstyle is
all about practice, to make your look seem effortless you need
to have tried the look out several times, so you are familiar
with the difference between looking too neat, and too
underdone. So grab your hairspray, comb and some styling irons
to have a go at some sexy hairstyles.
Classy
Color
Getting a great colourist to
put some highlights and lowlights through your hair can make
such a difference to the way your hair looks when you style it.
The effect of several colours together, means that you can rock
some great messy and beachy styles without looking
trashy.
If you want to look more
formal, ask your hairdresser for a rich all over colour that
will compliment your skin tone, with perhaps a few highlights
to give it body.
Accessorize it!
Start with the accessories. Get
a great hairband, a la Gossip Girl, or perhaps a hair plait
alice band that matches your hair color perfectly so you can
create any style you want (you can find these on
ebay).
The forehead band is a really
cool accessory to add to any outfit. You need to experiment
with it at home, so you feel confident about exactly where you
put it, but when you do you will look super trendy.
Beach
Hairstyles
Experiment with braiding your
hair next time you head to the beach. Some fishtail braids look
cute when tied loosely, secured with a diamante grip and then
you hair will look cute and wavy once you take them out after
swimming. The salt in the sea water will also give it a really
sexy tousled effect.
Of course, you could give your
hair some volume and wave, as well as some texturing serum and
a huge flower...the ultimate in poolside glamour.

Boho Chic
Updo
Just like Nicole Richie,
plaiting into an updo style can look really sexy and pretty at
the same time. Depending on the length of your hair, you may be
able to create some grecian looking styles, or some simple
french braids.
To create modern Heidi hair,
start experimenting with the directions you plait, and the
quantity also. You might want to start near the top of your
head, or begin near the neck...you can pin it up in circles or
twists, and you can secure it with a sparkly clip or some
secret grips.
Undoubtedly, one of the great
things about the way Nicole's hair looks with this style is the
colour of her hair, and the different tones and shades in
it.
