Little Tin SoldierLinda of glamorous fashion blog Little Tin Soldier was kind enough
to answer all our questions. Here she talks about her favorite foods, creating beautiful curls and who most
inspires her gorgeous artwork.
1. How would you describe your style?
Modern and independent with a dash of pizzazz.
2. Where and who most inspire you?
My everyday style icons are Rachel Roy and Tory Burch. They always look polished with intriguing accessories or
details. My favorite fashion editors are Lauren Santo-Domingo and Anna Della Russo. They have amazing, contrasting
personal style.
3. What's your favorite outfit you've ever worn?
I find joy in mixing beloved things (skirts, dresses, handmade necklaces) together. I feel like every outfit is my
favorite.
4. Favorite food?
I love spider rolls (soft shell crab rolls), red curry with udon noodles, and gelato.
5. Can you tell us 3 random facts about you...
When I draw on paper, I'm extremely loyal to Prismacolor pencils. I feel funny wearing a wrist watch. I love baby
dill pickles.
6. Your hair is gorgeous, how do you maintain such amazing glossy curls?
My hair is naturally straight. I dry my hair and work a small dab Mario Russo Miracle Finishing Cream into it. I
use a 1.5" curling iron to quickly make big, loose curls. Then I spritz it with hairspray.
7. What is your favorite movie?
I like caper movies like Rocknrolla and Ocean's Eleven. My favorite Pixar movie is UP.
8. Where and how do you like to shop?
I am a J.Crew girl at heart. I love pencil skirts, classic blouses, and skinny pants. My other favorite stores are
thrift shops, Target, Bluefly, Shopbop, and Neiman Marcus. I usually shop alone or online because I thumb through
too many racks for most people's patience.
9. Your artwork is really beautiful, who are your most influential artists?
In high school, my brother and cousin got into skateboarding, and I discovered Andy Mueller, a ridiculously
talented illustrator for Girl/Chocolate skateboards. I also admire Ezra Jack Keats and Eric Carle (children's book
illustrators). Little Tin Soldier motivates me to draw for a few minutes each day.
10. 3 tips to looking glamorously stylish?
Before I go out, I always: detangle my hair, add neutral lip color (I use Belle du Jour by Jemma Kidd), and walk
with confidence.
