Aspiring fashionista Flo inspires us with her love of food, international travel adventures and love of all things slightly cooky in her blog Fantail Flo.

1. How would you describe your fashion style?
I'm attracted to all things color, vintage and preppy. I sometimes try the geek-chic look, but mostly I would say I'm more of a vintage, indie girl. I also love thrifting and hunting for goods in vintage stores that nobody has heard of, I can spend all day rummaging through the piles and piles of clothes. Also, I'm quite addicted to cute little accessories and earrings!  

2. Your 3 most worn items in your closet?
My large parachute coat, which is brown and extra-large with plenty of airspace for warm knits inside, a black and white granny polka-dot button up that I found in an awesome thrift store and a brown blazer, which is formal, yet not too serious.  

3. What’s your favourite outfit you’ve ever worn? 
So far, I would say my favourite outfit so far is this one. The oriental white silk shirt goes great with black. I call this outfit "Yin Yang"!  

4. Which are your most read blogs? 
I'm completely hooked by Zipped and Tattyboots - these girls have an amazing fashion sense and a great, simple blog that gives me a happy feeling.  

5. Describe a perfect day… 
My perfect day would begin with an early start. I'm a morning person and have most energy in the early hours of the day! A nice, whole breakfast with summer fruits, thick yogurt and some eggs to kick start the brain, then a nice long walk with a loved one in a park or the beach for exercise. Afterwards, I would head to a coffee shop to have a hot drink then spend the rest of the afternoon going around flea markets and vintage shopping! The evening would be for relaxing, renting out a silly, romantic comedy, snuggling up with my dog and and sipping a cup of tea.  

6. Where’s your favourite place in the world, and why? 
My favorite place in the world is my nearby park. I go up there whenever I have free time and find a shaded tree to read poetry and literature, and also to people-watch. It's amazing what you see when you look around parks, you see people having fun, enjoying life and smiling together, it's beautiful!  

7. Who are your favourite designers? 
I don't have a favourite designer, any designer will do as long as the clothes are beautiful, comfortable and soft. And it's too hard to choose because everyone's style is different and I am amazed at all the unique creations I see everywhere on shops and magazines.  

8. How and where do you like to shop? 
Thrifting and vintage shops really attract me. I can't help but enter a vintage shop if i see one! It just gives me a feeling of triumph when I find something I love from the rows and rows of clothing. I feel the effort is worth it - sometimes I find designer clothes selling for a very low price and the item looks totally new! I sometimes find my thrifting buddies to go with me, and we all have a blast looking at everything in the shops together.  

9. What is your favourite movie costume design? 
 Hairspray the movie is the first thing that springs to my mind. I love the 60s inspired costumes and the girls all looked really colorful, bubbly and charming in their checkered dresses and puffed hemlines. The movie itself is one of my favourites, it cheers me up whenever I'm having a bad day.  

10. Describe the ultimate dinner party – who would you invite, and what would be on the menu? 
I would invite all the members of The Beatles to the party, and ask all my other favourite musicians to come along. As for food, I would serve salmon, sweet potatoes and pumpkin, three of my favourite savoury foods that are perfect for the baking and grilling. Dessert would be a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and strawberries for dipping! Hopefully, the artists will play a few tunes to keep us all up and dancing!
