Make Your Own Prom DressWhere can I design my own prom dress?

Are you looking to make the perfect prom dress?

If you can't find the dress of your dreams, but have the ultimate silhouette in mind, there are ways you can design your own gown online. Sometimes the only way to feel confident and look fantastic, is to have exactly what you want by designing your own prom dress.

There are several ways you can get your creation made: either by someone else, or by doing it yourself. If you've got a good seamstress or dressmaker near you (you should be able to find this out by looking in a local directory or newspaper), then chances are, they aren't too expensive, and if you have the fabric and a good idea of what you want, then they can help you to make a perfectly fitting outfit.

You could try making it yourself, but you will need to start early, as it will be a long process! Start by sketching some ideas, then get out some cheap fabric and a sewing machine and play around...see what you can make. You will be surprised at what you can acheive if you really put your mind to it.

Or you can use some online stores, where you can send photographs, drawings and your measurements and a few weeks later your perfect dress will be sent to you. This can be a bit difficult if the dress doesn't totally fit...but hopefully you know someone that can adjust it for you if necessary.
