Walking The Dog
Be Glamourous on a Dog
Walk
There's no reason to leave the house with your dog dressed
in your most unfabulous clothes, after all you never know who
you might meet in the park!
Beautiful Elizabeth of Chic
Heroin has the cutest dog named Bella, and
whenever they go on a walk, they both look well groomed. She
never lets her stylish, edgy look slip, and is always very well
put together.
Here she has dressed appropriately, but it is still a high
fashion look. Vintage trousers, highstreet long-sleeved leather
jacket, simple tank top and designer aviators, make for a
beautiful mix of styles that forms a classic but still trendy
ensemble.
In terms of footwear, Chic Heroin wore these 4 inch beauties
to try to break them in, what a brilliant idea! There's no
better time to road test your new high heels, but you might
want to take flats too - just in case!
Stylish
Outfits for Walking the Dog
Keep it simple and comfortable for creating an
effortless chic look. Sunglasses add celebrity mystery, and
heels give you a couture edge.
Leggings and boots should be your classic walking staples,
just add a dress or tunic top over it. And sling on a leather
jacket or long sleeved blazer. Layers are always on the catwalk
every season, so keep layering until you are the right
temperature.
Show off your best assets. Wear shorts in the summer if you
have amazing legs, or thick tights or leggings in the winter.
If you have a great waist, wear a waist belt whilst walking
your dog, but make sure its not too tight.
Wrap Up Warm in
Winter
Gloves, hats and scarves are essential whilst out in the
park at winter. The chunkier the knit the better, and the
bigger the coverage the warmer you will be.
Wear practical colours in winter when you go for a walk with
your puppy, as mud and snow are more prevalent at this time of
year. Wear a bright beanie for a pop of color!
Dog
Walking Shoes
Leather boots are comfortable, practical and chic. And
wellies are made stylish by Glastonbury (look at pictures of
the event for inspiration on ways to wear them).
Team your favorite boots with skinny jeans or patterned
leggings and a vintage dress. Or how about wearing your
favorite Converse, an item with the everlasting cool factor.
You can wear Converse with anything, in any way and look
awesome.
Steer clear of your running shoes, unless you are
actually going for a run. And ballet flats aren't a good idea
if you are going anywhere muddy...nor are heels in that
situation.
