Vacation Fashion
What to wear on the beach, how to
organize your suitcase and standing out at the
terminal...
Gone are the days of looking shabby on holiday, instead try
a dose of hippy luxe. Casual floaty separates with simple but
statement accessories really make it on a summer vacation.
Make sure you plan your outfits in advance, and take items
that go well with each other. Bring things that are individual,
so you don't just look like another tourist with jeans,
backpack and a camera.
Check the weather. Surely this goes without saying, but make
sure you know how hot and how wet it will be on vacation, so
that you are weatherproofed.
The gorgeous Liz of Late
Afternoon looks stunning in this holiday
perfect outfit. Relaxed, with a done yet undone look, these
tapered trousers and white chiffon blouse really set the mood.
But, to make sure she stays looking individual she's used a
bright scarf belt, white clutch, retro sunglasses and gladiator
heels.
Looking
Stylish at the Airport
Don't jet off to the airport without thinking about
your outfit. Start your vacation feeling confident and sexy by
selecting some comfortable, but flattering separates. There's
nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable on a flight,
especially if you're in for the long haul. To guarantee
comfort on the plane, put on your boarding outfit in advance,
do some stretches, sit in weird positions and generally just
give it a road test. If it feels remotely tight or awkward try
something else.
What to Pack
There are some essential items, which you should not
forget to take on holiday with you. Medication, sunglasses, a
raincoat, earplugs and currency should be at the top of your
list anywhere you go around the world.
Learn to pack by rolling each item, and don't leave it
til the last minute. Take spare plastic bags, and bring spare
batteries for your camera as well as an upload cable to post
those pictures to Facebook before you head off home.
Sexy Swimwear
Don't underestimate the power of good swimwear. A body
loving swimming costume can give you the confidence to walk
down the beach or past the lifeguard with total confidence.
Seek out a really flattering shape, and don't settle for
second best. The internet has hundreds of bikinis just ready to
be taken on vacation.
Hiking up Mountains
If you are going on a walking holiday, or you're in
for a bit of mountain climbing, there's no need to look
unstylish. Big lace up boots look great over some legwarmers
and leggings. Pop on an oversized tshirt, lumberjack shirt and
dark colored hoodie, for a fashion forward approach. And keep
your head warm with a ribbed wool beanie.
Take a comfortable backpack and keep and eyeliner pencil
close to hand, so your features really pop in the photos at the
top of the mountain!
