Everyday Outfit Fashion
Advice
Stuck for how
to style yourself today?
Sometimes you go to the closet and its totally impossible to
find anything useful, anything you actually want to
wear.
Putting together an outfit is not an art form necessarily,
it just takes a little bit of imagination. You ought to get out
of your comfort zone, and be ok with looking slightly smarter
than you usually would.
Whether you are going to work, going out for a shopping trip
or simply just heading for a cup of coffee with friends and
family, its important to look your best. Make sure you look
YOU, as well as choosing an outfit that's bang on trend.
Look Expensive
It doesn't have to be bought in a designer boutique or
department store for it to look expensive. The key to styling a
classy outfit is in the way you put things together, and what
accessories you choose. Sometimes the
grungiest hoody and harem pants can look super chic and edgy
with a pair of high heeled, chunky black gladiators.
You can simply add a statement necklace to a dress to update
it. Or, add a hat for a really confident celebrity look. Or
simply pop on some big frame sunglasses next time you pop out
the house, for an air of mystery no matter what you are
wearing.
New York Style
Check out some favorite fashion blogs for daily style
pictures, and shopping tips too. Keep yourself up to date with
trends around the world, especially style capitals like New
York, as these are the most style influential places.
The trends that emerge in NYC are often translated to the
catwalks in next seasons shows. The cool, monochrome,
laid-back, office chic look is worn by the young and trendy,
and the upper west siders rock classic fitted designer
looks.
What to
Wear to Work
Choosing what to wear to work everyday can get quite
monotonous, and it's really easy to get stuck in a rut.
Sometimes it's important to do a bit of research, buy a couple
of vintage accessories to change your look a bit. If you don't
have money for new clothing items, then get experimental with
your hair!
A simple suit is the obvious choice, but make it look a bit
more trendy with this seasons colour shirt, with the most
popular fabrics and necklines. Pick a nice leather bag to
compliment the look, and finish off with the highest heels you
can handle.
Create
Your Own Clothing Style
It's so easy to get absorbed in the trends, that picking out
an outfit that really says YOU can be tough. You'll want to
start by working out what you really like, what
colours look right with your skin tone and
which cuts compliment your body
shape.
